About The Position

The Sales & Service position is responsible for selling, servicing, and maintaining tires and wheels while providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct. The role includes tire and wheel installation and maintenance, tire repairs and rotations, wheel balancing, TPMS service, battery work, equipment use, and customer sales support. It may also involve test driving vehicles and operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services. Les Schwab offers on-the-job training for a variety of skills.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
Frequent lifting of weights between 35 and 75 pounds.
Frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling, and continuous squatting, reaching, walking, and standing.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain tires and wheels.
Repair, rotate, and inflate tires.
Attach and rebalance wheels.
Install or rebuild TPMS and relearn or calibrate TPMS systems.
Wash tires and wheels.
Test and install batteries.
Use and maintain equipment.
Assist other employees.
Test drive vehicles.
Operate service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
Provide excellent customer service and promote store sales.
Use the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers.
Complete work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.
