Tire Technician

About The Position
Tire Technicians work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean facilities and providing friendly service to customers and drivers. They handle tire sales, removal, and replacement for vehicles including commercial vehicles, both in the shop and through roadside service. The role also includes equipment repair and store-facility maintenance. No prior experience is required; training is provided. Technicians work a rotating schedule that may alternate between day and night as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift more than 75 pounds while working in close quarters.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
- Ability to obtain a Department of Transportation medical card; Love’s pays for it.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of tire sales, removal, and replacement for vehicles, including commercial vehicles, in the shop and through roadside service.
- Repair and maintain equipment and the store facility, including general housekeeping.
- Put customer safety and satisfaction first and comply with company safety policies and procedures.
- Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
