Tire Technician
About The Position
Driven by Dobbs is seeking a Tire Technician to perform tire services and minor vehicle maintenance while helping maintain shop organization and inventory. The role includes mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing tires; inspecting tire casings; and supporting customer vehicle movement and service operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, accountable, customer-focused, and works well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Driven by Dobbs brings together Dobbs Tire and Auto Centers and Conrad’s Tire Express & Total Car Care. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities
- Mount and dismount tires and inspect damaged, defective, or flat tires to determine whether repairs are feasible.
- Perform tire repairs, balancing, and rotations on a variety of vehicles.
- Perform minor automotive maintenance, including oil changes, lubrication, and accessory replacement.
- Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean using approved methods and solvents.
- Drive customer vehicles into and out of the service bay and provide shuttle service when needed.
- Receive, inventory, and store tires by size and type; stack and organize storage areas.
- Inspect tire casings and categorize them as reusable or scrap.
- Deliver tires to other service locations as needed.
- Complete additional tasks or assignments as directed.
