About The Position
Maintains and repairs tires in accordance with WM Total Tire Maintenance (TTM) Program and applicable local, state, and federal guidelines. The position is based on-site and operates in both indoor gas plant conditions and outdoor conditions, including inclement weather, heat, and humidity. It is designated safety-sensitive, requiring strict compliance with safety rules and protocols. Ongoing employment may require drug and alcohol testing in accordance with government regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Maintain tires in compliance with WM Total Tire Maintenance standards.
- Manage the site TTM plan.
- Complete paperwork associated with vehicle repairs, document parts usage, and account for applied times.
- Conduct out-of-service tire reviews and analysis.
- Perform or assign tire road calls as necessary.
- Inspect scrap and obsolete tires.
- Review failed tires for warranty consideration.
- Inspect the quality of retreads and repairs.
- Perform tire checks on company vehicles and equipment as required.
- Maintain tire records.
- Monitor suppliers’ servicing standards.
- Perform fleet surveys.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate and OSHA standards.
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
