About The Position

The Tire Technician mounts, balances, rotates, and repairs tires across passenger, light truck, large truck, and industrial applications. The position also involves fleet inspections, safe operation of company vehicles, handling inventory, and working with tire pressure monitoring systems. The technician follows training, safety procedures, job duties, and company policies, and performs other duties as assigned. Preferred ability to drive an F-350 service truck to assist customers at onsite breakdown locations.

Requirements

Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Be able to lift and/or move tires weighing 30–250 pounds, with or without mechanical assistance.
Have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
Heavy-duty or commercial tire experience is preferred but not required.

Nice To Haves

Experience with heavy-duty or commercial tires.
Ability to drive an F-350 service truck to onsite customer breakdown locations.

Responsibilities

Mount, balance, rotate, and repair passenger, light truck, large truck, and industrial tires.
Operate company vehicles safely and comply with speed and traffic regulations.
Conduct fleet inspections.
Participate in training and follow safety procedures, job duties, and company policies.
Drive an F-350 service truck to customer breakdown locations when able.
Load and unload stock and assist with physical inventory.
Work with tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS).
Perform other duties as assigned.
