About The Position
RNR Tire Express is hiring a full-time Tire & Wheel Alignment Technician / Automotive Technician to mount, balance, install, and align tires and wheels. The position also helps maintain shop operations through safety oversight, paperwork, inventory organization, and care of products, tools, and equipment. Technicians use tire and balancing machines and provide customers with dependable service. The role offers an average hourly wage of $16.00 to $23.00 with bonuses; the company states that it does not use flat-rate pay. The shop is closed on Sundays.
Requirements
- Valid state driver's license with a clean driving history.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physical ability to perform typical tasks associated with the position.
- Organization and attention to detail, especially when tracking inventory.
- Safety-mindedness, customer-service orientation, motivation to exceed customer expectations, and ability to work as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a tire technician, wheel specialist, automotive technician, or wheel alignment technician.
- Experience mounting, balancing, and installing tires and wheels.
Responsibilities
- Mount, balance, install, and align tires and wheels.
- Help oversee activity in the tire shop and ensure shop safety guidelines are followed.
- Complete paperwork.
- Maintain inventory, products, tools, and equipment.
- Label and organize merchandise as it arrives.
- Help provide customers with a dependable, exceptional service experience.
