Tire Technician

About The Position
Tire Technicians work in a fast-paced environment, maintain clean facilities, and provide friendly service to customers and drivers. The role involves selling, removing, and replacing tires—including tires for commercial vehicles—in the shop and during roadside service. Technicians also help repair and maintain equipment and the store facility. No experience is required; training is provided. The position requires working a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift more than 75 pounds while working in close quarters.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
- Ability to obtain a Department of Transportation medical card; Love’s pays for it.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires, including tires for commercial vehicles, in the shop and during roadside service.
- Repair and maintain equipment and the store facility, including performing general housekeeping duties.
- Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction while complying with company safety policies and procedures.
- Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
