Tire Technician

About The Position
Tire Technicians work in a fast-paced environment, maintain a clean facility, and provide friendly service to customers and drivers. The role includes selling, removing, and replacing tires on vehicles up to and including commercial vehicles, both in the shop and through roadside service. Technicians also handle equipment repair and facility maintenance, including general housekeeping. Love’s provides training, so prior experience is not required.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift 75+ pounds while working in close quarters.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
- Ability to obtain a Department of Transportation medical card; Love’s pays for it.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires, including tires for commercial vehicles, in the shop and through roadside service.
- Repair and maintain equipment and the store facility, including general housekeeping.
- Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction and comply with company safety policies and procedures.
- Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
