Tire Technician

About The Position
Tire Technicians work in a fast-paced environment and help maintain a clean, welcoming store. They interact with customers and drivers, performing tire services on vehicles ranging up to commercial vehicles both in the shop and roadside. The role also includes equipment repair and store-facility maintenance. No prior experience is required; training is provided. Technicians work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift more than 75 pounds while working in close quarters.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
- Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation; the cost is paid by Love’s.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires on vehicles up to and including commercial vehicles, in the shop and through roadside service.
- Repair and maintain equipment and the store facility, including general housekeeping.
- Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction while complying with company safety policies and procedures.
