About The Position
Tire Technicians work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean places and providing friendly service. They interact with customers and drivers and perform tire services for commercial vehicles in the shop and roadside. No prior experience is required; training is provided. The role also involves maintaining store equipment and facilities, following safety procedures, and working a rotating schedule that may alternate between day and night as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift more than 75 pounds while working in close quarters.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
- Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation; Love’s pays for it.
Responsibilities
- Handle the sale, removal, and replacement of tires, including tires for commercial vehicles, in the shop and during roadside service.
- Repair and maintain equipment and the store facility, including general housekeeping.
- Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction and comply with company safety policies and procedures.
- Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
