Tire Technician
About The Position
Tire Technicians work in a fast-paced environment and help maintain a clean, welcoming place. They interact with customers and drivers, providing tire services for commercial vehicles in the shop and on the roadside. No prior experience is required; training is provided. The role also includes equipment repair and store facility maintenance, housekeeping, and following company safety policies and procedures. Technicians work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed and must be able to obtain a Department of Transportation medical card, which Love’s pays for.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift 75+ pounds while working in close quarters.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
- Ability to obtain a Department of Transportation medical card; Love’s pays for it.
- Ability to work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires, including tires for commercial vehicles, in the shop and through roadside service.
- Repair and maintain equipment and the store facility, including general housekeeping.
- Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction and comply with company safety policies and procedures.
