Tire Technician Part Time $1000 Sign on Bonus
About The Position
The Tire Technician assists members with selecting and purchasing tires, installs and repairs tires, completes tire bay documentation, and maintains tire bay policies and procedures. The role includes providing knowledgeable service at the tire desk, maintaining inventory and displays, and keeping the tire bay and waiting area clean and professional. Team members are expected to follow club policies and safety standards, deliver positive member service, work collaboratively, and perform other duties as assigned, including supporting other departments. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills or willingness to learn them.
- Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.

- Prior tire installation experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist members in selecting and purchasing tires, including verifying tire sizes for their vehicles.
- Mount, dismount, rotate, balance, install, and repair tires as appropriate.
- Properly dispose of tires and fill propane tanks as needed, when certified in accordance with DOT requirements.
- Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
- Provide knowledgeable service at the tire desk and coordinate with Home Office about member tire needs as needed.
- Maintain accurate and complete supply inventory and appropriately use available special-order tire programs.
- Keep the tire bay and waiting area clean and professional, and merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
- Follow safety, cleanliness, equipment-use, club policy, and procedure requirements.
- Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
