Tire Technician Part Time $1000 Sign on Bonus
About The Position
The Tire Technician assists members in selecting and purchasing tires, installs and repairs tires, completes tire bay documentation, and maintains tire bay policies and procedures. The role includes mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing tires; maintaining tire displays, inventory, and a clean, professional work area; and providing knowledgeable service at the tire desk. The technician must follow club safety and cleanliness standards and may perform other duties or work in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
- Pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.

- Prior tire installation experience.
Responsibilities
- Install tires, including mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing.
- Dispose of tires properly and fill propane tanks when certified and as required by club policy.
- Maintain a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area.
- Merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
- Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk and assist with tire selection and purchase, including verifying vehicle tire sizes.
- Coordinate with the Home Office regarding member tire needs as needed.
- Maintain an accurate and complete supply inventory.
- Understand and use available special-order tire programs appropriately.
- Follow safety and cleanliness standards and use tire bay equipment properly.
- Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
- Maintain club policies and procedures.
- Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
