Tire Technician Part Time $1000 Sign on Bonus
About The Position
The Tire Technician assists members with selecting and purchasing tires, verifies tire sizes for vehicles, and installs and repairs tires. The role includes mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing tires; completing tire bay scheduling data and sales and service documentation; and maintaining tire bay policies and procedures. The technician also maintains supply inventory, merchandises tire displays and automotive products, and keeps the tire bay and waiting area clean and professional. Other duties include properly disposing of tires, filling propane tanks when certified to do so, using special-order tire programs, and working in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
- Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
- Ability to lift over 30 pounds with assistance.

- Prior tire installation experience.
Responsibilities

- Maintain a clean, professional tire bay and waiting area; merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
- Provide knowledgeable service at the tire desk and coordinate with Home Office regarding member tire needs as needed.
- Maintain accurate and complete supply inventory and use available special-order tire programs appropriately.
- Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
- Follow safety and cleanliness standards and properly use tire bay equipment.
- Maintain club policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
