About The Position

The Tire Technician assists members with selecting and purchasing tires, installs and repairs tires, completes tire bay documentation, and maintains tire bay policies and procedures. The role includes providing knowledgeable service at the tire desk, supporting a safe and positive member experience, and maintaining clean, organized displays and service areas. Technicians may perform other duties or work in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Prior tire installation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Dispose of tires properly and fill propane tanks when needed and certified under DOT requirements.
• Maintain a clean, professional tire bay and waiting area; merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Assist members with selecting and purchasing tires, including verifying vehicle tire sizes.
• Provide knowledgeable service at the tire desk and coordinate with Home Office about member tire needs as needed.
• Maintain accurate supply inventory and appropriately use available special-order tire programs.
• Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
• Follow safety, cleanliness, equipment-use, club policy, and procedure requirements.
• Support member service standards, resolve or escalate member concerns, and contribute to a safe, positive environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
