About The Position

Tire Outlet is a complete automotive repair business offering services ranging from tires and oil changes to air conditioning and tire service. The Tire Sales/Service Advisor sells and promotes the products and services offered by Tire Outlet while following company store standards and expectations. The role helps manage the shop team and workflow and serves as manager on duty when the store manager is absent. Starting compensation is $16–$20 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturdays.
• Professional appearance and proven ability to work in a process-driven environment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience as a Service Advisor is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally in person and by telephone using the company’s standardized customer service techniques.
• Listen to and document customer concerns, inspect vehicles, and review service history to identify and verify service needs.
• Recommend services appropriate to the advisor’s level of knowledge.
• Clearly explain additional technician recommendations to customers and document all recommendations in customer files.
• Promote appropriate services, parts, and accessories by demonstrating knowledge of products and related service requirements.
• Provide accurate quotes for customer-approved services, including cost and completion time.
• Update customers throughout the day on the status of their services.
• Follow checkout procedures, review completed multi-point inspections, and explain applicable warranties.
• Make post-repair and declined-service follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Track new returns, core returns, and warranty parts for individual customers.
• Help manage the shop team and workflow and act as manager on duty when the store manager is absent.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
