About The Position

Tire Outlet is a complete automotive repair business offering tire, oil change, air conditioning, and other automotive services. The Service Advisor sells and promotes the company’s products and services while following store standards and expectations. The role helps manage the shop team and workflow and serves as manager on duty when the store manager is absent. Starting compensation is $16–$20 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Professional appearance and proven ability to work in a process-driven environment.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturdays.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience as a Service Advisor is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally in person and by telephone using the company’s standardized customer service techniques.
• Listen to and document customer concerns, inspect vehicles, and review service history to identify and verify service needs.
• Recommend services within the appropriate level of knowledge and communicate technicians’ additional recommendations so customers can make informed decisions.
• Document all recommendations in the customer file.
• Promote appropriate services, parts, and accessories by demonstrating an understanding of the products and related service requirements.
• Provide accurate quotes for approved services, including cost and completion time, and update customers on service status throughout the day.
• Follow proper checkout procedures, including reviewing the completed multi-point inspection and explaining applicable warranties.
• Conduct post-repair and declined-service follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Track new returns, core returns, and warranty parts for individual customers.
• Help manage the shop team and workflow; act as manager on duty when the store manager is absent.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
