About The Position

Responsible for assisting members in selecting and purchasing tires, properly installing and repairing tires, completing tire bay documentation, and maintaining tire bay policies and procedures. The role includes providing knowledgeable service at the tire desk, supporting club policies and compliance, and helping maintain a safe, positive environment for members and team members. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
• Pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Prior tire installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, rotate, and balance tires properly.
• Dispose of tires properly and fill propane tanks as needed when certified according to DOT requirements.
• Maintain a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area.
• Merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk and assist with tire selection and purchase, including verifying vehicle tire sizes.
• Coordinate with the Home Office regarding member tire needs as needed.
• Maintain an accurate and complete supply inventory.
• Understand and appropriately use available special-order tire programs.
• Follow safety and cleanliness standards and properly use tire bay equipment.
• Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
• Maintain club policies and procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Support club standards, teamwork, member service, and a safe and positive environment.
