About The Position

The Thrift Store Associate works in an Idaho Youth Ranch thrift store, selling donated items to generate profits that fund the organization’s programs and services for Idaho’s youth. The role contributes to the mission of nurturing hope, healing, and resilience by helping make those services accessible to young people who need them. Associates represent the Idaho Youth Ranch, serve customers, process transactions, and handle donated merchandise and store operations.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to WOW customers.
• Ability to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Idaho Youth Ranch.
• Provide strong customer service and create a positive customer experience.
• Operate cash registers and credit/check processing equipment.
• Sort, clean, price, and stock donated merchandise.
• Operate pallet jacks, hand carts, lift gates, and other loading and moving equipment.
