About The Position

The Thrift Store Associate works in an Idaho Youth Ranch thrift store and supports the organization’s mission to nurture hope, healing, and resilience in Idaho’s youth. The role sells donated items, with profits funding programs and services for youth in Idaho. Associates represent Idaho Youth Ranch, provide strong customer service, process transactions, and prepare and stock donated merchandise. The position also involves operating equipment used to move and load merchandise. Weekend availability is required.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to WOW customers.
• Ability to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Idaho Youth Ranch.
• Provide strong customer service and create a positive experience for customers.
• Operate cash registers and credit/check processing equipment.
• Sort, clean, price, and stock donated merchandise.
• Operate pallet jacks, hand carts, lift gates, and other loading or moving equipment.
