About The Position

The Thrift Store Associate works in an Idaho Youth Ranch thrift store, supporting the organization’s mission to nurture hope, healing, and resilience in Idaho’s youth. The position sells donated items, with profits funding programs and services for Idaho youth. The associate represents Idaho Youth Ranch, serves customers, processes transactions, and helps prepare and move donated merchandise. The position is located in Idaho, and candidates must live within a reasonable distance of the work location.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide an excellent customer experience.
• Ability to work weekends.
• Must be within a reasonable distance of the Idaho work location.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Idaho Youth Ranch.
• Provide customer service to thrift store customers.
• Operate cash registers and credit/check processing equipment.
• Sort, clean, price, and stock donated merchandise.
• Operate pallet jacks, hand carts, lift gates, and other loading or moving equipment.
