About The Position

The Thrift Store Associate works in an Idaho Youth Ranch thrift store and supports the organization’s mission to nurture hope, healing, and resilience in Idaho’s youth. The role helps fund the organization’s programs and services by selling donated items. Associates represent Idaho Youth Ranch, serve customers, process purchases, and prepare donated merchandise for sale. Candidates must live within a reasonable distance of the Idaho location.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Idaho Youth Ranch.
• Provide strong customer service and help create a positive customer experience.
• Operate cash registers and credit/check processing equipment.
• Sort, clean, price, and stock donated merchandise.
• Operate pallet jacks, hand carts, lift gates, and other loading or moving equipment.
