About The Position
The Idaho Youth Ranch is a nonprofit agency whose mission is to unite for Idaho’s youth by providing accessible programs and services that nurture hope, healing, and resilience. Thrift Store Associates support this mission by selling donated items in a thrift store. Profits from those sales fund the organization’s programs and services and help make them accessible to Idaho youth. The position represents the Idaho Youth Ranch and involves customer service, processing transactions, and handling donated merchandise. It is located in Idaho, and candidates must live within a reasonable distance of the location.
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work weekends.
- Must be within a reasonable distance of the Idaho location.
Responsibilities
- Represent the Idaho Youth Ranch.
- Provide strong customer service and create a positive experience for customers.
- Operate cash registers and credit/check processing equipment.
- Sort, clean, price, and stock donated merchandise.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand carts, lift gates, and other loading or moving equipment.
