About The Position

The Thrift Store Associate works in an Idaho Youth Ranch thrift store, representing the organization and supporting its mission to nurture hope, healing, and resilience in Idaho’s youth. The associate sells donated items, with store profits funding the organization’s programs and services and helping make them accessible to Idaho youth.

The role involves assisting customers, processing purchases, and sorting, cleaning, pricing, and stocking donated merchandise. Associates also use equipment to load and move items. Weekend availability is required.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide an excellent customer experience.
• Ability to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Idaho Youth Ranch.
• Operate cash registers and credit/check processing equipment.
• Sort, clean, price, and stock donated merchandise.
• Operate pallet jacks, hand carts, lift gates, and other loading and moving equipment.
• Provide strong customer service to customers.
