About The Position

The Thrift Store Associate works in an Idaho Youth Ranch thrift store and contributes to the organization’s mission of nurturing hope, healing, and resilience for Idaho’s youth. The role supports Idaho Youth Ranch Programs and Services by selling donated items, with profits helping fund and make those services accessible to Idaho youth. Associates represent Idaho Youth Ranch, serve customers, process transactions, and handle donated merchandise. The position is located in Idaho, and candidates must live within a reasonable distance of the location.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work weekends.
• Must be within a reasonable distance of the Idaho location.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Idaho Youth Ranch.
• Provide strong customer service and create a positive experience for customers.
• Operate cash registers and credit/check processing equipment.
• Sort, clean, price, and stock donated merchandise.
• Operate pallet jacks, hand carts, lift gates, and other loading or moving equipment.
