About The Position

Jubilee Ministries is a privately funded 501(c)(3) nonprofit Christian ministry serving people affected by incarceration through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Thrift Store Associate supports store and dock operations while delivering customer service and helping advance the ministry’s mission. Each employee is considered essential to fulfilling the mission and must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. This position is scheduled for 28 hours per week, Monday through Saturday, with morning and evening hours. Compensation is $14.00 per hour. The posting describes a positive, faith-filled, mission-driven workplace with a small team, prayer and devotions, and set schedules. Benefits vary for full-time and part-time employees.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to everyone entering the store or visiting the dock.
Operate the register as scheduled.
Assist management in resolving customer concerns and returns.
Assist with opening and closing the store and dock as instructed.
Keep shelves and racks stocked and attractively displayed, and help keep the store and dock clean and organized.
Process donations according to policy.
Assist with loading and unloading purchases and donations.
Participate in staff meetings and team building.
