About The Position

The Therapy Tech assists rehabilitation staff with patient care and is responsible for patient safety while completing tasks delegated by therapists. The role includes ensuring treatments are performed at the correct times and carrying out assigned routine treatments. The Therapy Tech also maintains clean, organized work areas and equipment. The position requires a minimum of 16 hours per month. Shifts are likely to be 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. During onboarding, a regular weekday schedule is preferred for at least the first couple of weeks, although this may be discussed. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required within 30 days of starting. The compensation range is $17.60–$28.51 per hour. Responsibilities

Assist with checking in and supervising independent access clients, if applicable.
Ensure regular maintenance, including oil changes, and fueling for the CTS vehicle.
Maintain equipment and the work environment in an organized manner in accordance with policies and Joint Commission and CMS standards.
Monitor the delivery area daily for incoming orders and supplies, and stock them in the appropriate location promptly.
Support clinical or office personnel in accordance with legal standards and department guidelines.
Sanitize equipment according to infection-control policies and procedures, and maintain related records.
Work with the supply coordinator to maintain appropriate par levels of supplies for daily clinical operations.
Assist clinical staff with patient-care tasks delegated by a therapy team member, including environmental setup, fitting CPM, and providing a second assist as directed by the therapist.
Clean and organize dirty equipment and keep the therapy environment clean and free of clutter.
Assist with ordering and stocking supplies.
Assist with administrative tasks, including rescheduling, department tracking, and other assigned department functions.
