Therapy Development Specialist (Dallas)
About The Position
The Therapy Development Specialist at Mobia supports adoption and clinical integration of the Vivistim® Paired VNS™ System, a neurostimulation therapy for stroke rehabilitation. Working closely with healthcare professionals—including physicians, therapists, and rehabilitation teams—the specialist educates and trains them on the system, guides therapy implementation, monitors patient progress, and provides on-site and remote support to help achieve optimal outcomes. The role partners with a territory manager to develop territory plans, expand rehabilitation-facility access, support clinical and surgical implant sites, and achieve implant and sales goals. The specialist builds customer relationships, delivers product presentations, serves as the Vivistim patient expert in the assigned geography, and collaborates with marketing and company leadership to advance therapy adoption. The position requires clinical and product expertise, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
Requirements
- Degree or training in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy; OT, PT, COTA, or PTA credentials are listed as required.
- At least 3–5 years of documented, successful clinical or sales experience with supporting results.
- Strong process orientation, resource management and allocation experience, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work autonomously as a self-starter and independent thinker.
- Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM.
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated teamwork and collaboration.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with customers and patients at all levels.
- Ability to operate within applicable legal and regulatory guidelines.
- Ability to influence decision makers in large, complex environments and sell new solutions in mature markets.
- Ability to work in a cross-matrix organization.

Responsibilities
- Partner with the territory manager to develop territory plans and strategies that create new avenues for patients to access prescribing Vivistim accounts, focusing primarily on rehabilitation facilities and key decision makers.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual Vivistim implant and sales goals, focusing on UE-Dx evaluations and paired VNS therapy for potential candidates.
- Manage and expand rehabilitation facilities in the assigned geography by preparing a comprehensive business plan.
- Support surgical implanting sites in the operating suite.
- Exceed customer expectations and contribute to customer and patient satisfaction.
- Provide weekly sales forecasts using available organizational tools and guidance.
- Deliver in-depth product presentations to patients, accounts, and clinicians, and communicate the Vivistim message to healthcare partners and key individuals at therapy sites, hospitals, and partner facilities.
- Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership.
- Work with marketing to establish successful patient and customer access and therapy adoption.
- Manage customer relationships and lead the advancement of strategic opportunities.
- Establish expertise as the Vivistim Paired-VNS Patient Expert for the assigned geography.
- Drive clinical excellence and urgency in achieving goals.
- Maintain outstanding product, technical, and clinical expertise.
- Complete administrative requirements accurately and on time.
- Represent the company professionally and maintain its ethical and moral standards.
