About The Position

MOTION PT Group, a member of the Confluent Health Family, is seeking a Part-Time Therapy Aide to join their team. This role involves preparing patients for treatment, assisting with transfers and transportation, preparing and cleaning equipment and treatment areas, stocking treatment areas, and setting up patients with modalities for safety and comfort. The position is located at 672 Parkside Avenue, 4th Floor Brooklyn, NY, with a work schedule of 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The salary is $17.00/hour, commensurate with experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Looking for candidates who are available all year round

Nice To Haves

• Pre-physical therapy/allied health degree track preferred.
• Background in health, wellness, or personal training preferred.
• Bilingual preferred

Responsibilities

• Preparing patients for treatment, assisting with transfers and transportation.
• Preparing equipment and treatment areas.
• Cleaning treatment areas and maintaining a tidy gym environment.
• Ensuring treatment areas are well stocked.
• Efficiently setting up patients with modalities to ensure safety and comfort.
