About The Position

Bethanna is hiring an outpatient therapist to provide individual and family therapy to children and adolescents in an office in Southampton, Pennsylvania. The therapist will manage an assigned caseload, develop and implement treatment plans with clinical supervision, coordinate care with other providers and organizations, and support treatment planning and discharge processes. The role also includes clinical documentation, caregiver and staff education, crisis consultation, and maintaining required authorizations, training, licensure, and certifications. The stated salary is $50,000 per year, with additional pay of $5 per session for evidence-based treatment. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 12 PM–8 PM; Friday, 9 AM–5 PM, is an option.

Requirements

A master’s degree in a mental-health-related discipline, such as Clinical Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or another clinically related field.
The degree must include clinical practicum or internship experience with children and adolescents, with on-site supervision.

Responsibilities

Provide individual and family therapy to an assigned caseload of children and adolescents.
Develop and implement treatment plans with clinical supervision.
Complete treatment plans, progress notes, clinical summaries, and other documentation.
Coordinate care with psychiatrists, partial hospitalization programs, schools, social workers, and other professionals.
Participate in treatment-team meetings, court proceedings, and agency contacts when clinical expertise is needed.
Assist with crisis consultation for staff and caregivers.
Participate in discharge planning and review treatment goals.
Educate caregivers, legal guardians, and staff about treatment interventions.
Obtain and maintain managed-care authorization for services.
Keep current with developments in diagnosis and treatment.
Complete required trainings and maintain required licensure and certifications.
