About The Position

The Vault Bartender is responsible for mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures. This role involves handling payments, maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the bar, and collaborating effectively with team members and regulatory personnel. The position requires adherence to all operating procedures, safety, and sanitation regulations. Team members in this role must be able to work varying schedules to meet business needs, including weekends and holidays, and may be scheduled on duty or on-call during these times.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year experience as a full-service bartender with proven outstanding guest relations
  • Experience using point of sale and liquor dispensing systems
  • Knowledge, skill, and ability to work with personal computers and credit card systems
  • Skills needed to safely prepare and serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with internal policies and external regulations and/or laws
  • Experience in food and beverage sanitation
  • Experience with cash control policies, practices, and protocols
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Ability to obtain an Oklahoma ABLE license
  • Must pass a background check and drug-screening test
  • Must obtain a gaming license
  • Must obtain an Oklahoma ABLE permit upon hire
  • Must obtain a local Food Handler’s permit upon hire

Responsibilities

  • Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures.
  • Accept cash, credit cards, or complimentary vouchers for payment.
  • Maintain a clean and functional appearance of the bar.
  • Notify appropriate team members when assistance is needed.
  • Work effectively and congenially with peers, team members, and regulatory agency personnel.
  • Follow all operating procedures, safety and sanitation regulations, and departmental procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the reporting supervisor, including cross-training.
  • Understand and comply with the Eye, Hi, Goodbye program.
  • Adhere to and act in accordance with all casino policies and procedures, and applicable federal, state and local regulations.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
  • Follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation, carefully monitor processes and routine work details.
  • Prepare for known problems and opportunities in advance.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities and respond to situations as they arise.
  • Maintain high standards despite pressing deadlines.
  • Reinforce excellence as a fundamental priority.
  • Operate various types of equipment used in the department, such as point-of-sale systems, dish washing equipment, personal computers, and telephones.
