About The Position

The Wager Bartender supports beverage service at The Wager, a coastal sports pub at Naples Beach Club, a Four Seasons Resort. The role focuses on accurate and efficient drink preparation, adherence to established standards, and maintaining a clean, organized, and properly stocked bar. The bartender prepares cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits and provides professional, courteous, and efficient guest service.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of bartending experience.
• Strong interpersonal and personal presentation skills.
• Guest-focused mentality and understanding of the importance of guest preferences.
• Fluency in English.
• Current work authorization in the United States.
• Ability to stand continuously for 8 or more hours per day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule with ability to work afternoon and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Bartending experience in a luxury hotel or high-end bar environment.
• Working knowledge of the Micros POS system.
• Confident, outgoing personality and a can-do approach to requests.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledge of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks, including their origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain working knowledge of the wine list, classic cocktail recipes, and specialty drinks.
• Provide quick and efficient beverage service, pouring and mixing according to established recipes while following state and city alcohol laws and Four Seasons service standards and sequence of service.
• Confirm guest orders from servers using the resort’s point-of-sale system, check completed orders against the original order, anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions.
• Respond courteously, urgently, and appropriately to guest requests and concerns.
• Assist with drink development, promotions and special events, product inventory, and log entries for voids and spillage; cut and prepare fruit and other beverage garnishes; and perform related tasks.
• Follow bar policies and procedures and daily checklists.
• Greet guests promptly and courteously with eye contact and a smile, ensuring professional, courteous, and efficient service.
