About The Position
We are searching for our next Territory Partner who will serve as an Independent Business Owner that is contracted to represent Trupanion within the South Detroit market. This is not a franchise or brokerage. There are no franchise fees and this business does not necessitate a brick-and-mortar operation. Trupanion has experienced consistent growth for the past 10 years, with revenue and enrolled pets increasing every quarter. Our comprehensive pet insurance plan has no payout limits and covers chronic, congenital, and hereditary conditions. We are unique in the industry with patented in-hospital software that processes and pays claims directly to hospitals in minutes. Unlike competitors, we own the Trupanion brand, avoiding royalty payments. Our industry-leading 98.6% monthly retention rate continues to increase. Our policies are month-to-month, not annual, providing predictable revenue and uncapped income potential for our Territory Partners. Territory Partners are essential to our growth by expanding our network and increasing direct marketing to veterinarians, thereby increasing the number of hospitals that introduce Trupanion to their clients. A Trupanion Territory Partner acts as a consultant and exclusive representative for our pet health insurance product in their designated market. They build relationships and educate veterinary professionals on the benefits of Trupanion for their practice, companion animals, and families.
Requirements
- Reside in the South Detroit metro area.
- Available to dedicate 40 hours a week to building your business.
- Successfully obtaining a Property and Casualty license in Michigan.
- Background in sales, business ownership, and/or veterinary industry.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an Independent Business Owner contracted to represent Trupanion within the South Detroit market.
- Act as a consultant to Trupanion and the exclusive representative for our pet health insurance product within the South Detroit market.
- Build relationships and educate veterinarians, vet techs, and office staff about the benefits of Trupanion.
