About The Position

Halter is hiring a Territory Manager to drive new business growth and customer success in a designated territory. The role executes sales strategies, builds customer relationships, meets growth targets, and represents Halter in the field. It combines prospecting, in-person sales, account expansion, territory ownership, customer onboarding, and ongoing account support. The manager works with Product, Support, Customer Onboarding, and other teams, sharing customer feedback and field insights to help ensure Halter’s technology meets the needs of US farmers. The work is highly hands-on and involves frequent travel throughout the territory. Activities may include visiting ranches, helping customers gather cattle, attending auctions and agricultural events, demonstrating Halter’s solutions, and meeting with regional agricultural groups and public-agency stakeholders. The role also contributes to improving the broader US sales strategy and customer experience. The posting contains a location inconsistency: the title specifies Panhandle and West Texas, while the role description says the territory covers the Piney Woods region of East Texas. Halter describes its mission as helping farmers and graziers operate more productively and sustainably through virtual fencing technology. The company offers an annual self-development budget, health insurance, paid parental leave, wellness leave, unlimited paid annual leave, a 401(k) with employer matching, and an employee stock ownership plan. Annual OTE is $140,000–$165,000, including target sales commissions and base salary.
