About The Position

Charlie Health is hiring a Territory Manager, SUD to help scale its Substance Use Disorder program nationally as part of a founding go-to-market team. This role will shape how Charlie Health engages referral partners in SUD settings, including detox centers, residential treatment centers, rehabilitation facilities, and other SUD-focused organizations. The Territory Manager will educate partners about Charlie Health’s SUD treatment and mental health programs and help them understand how the services can support people on the path to recovery. The role is suited to someone who thrives in a high-accountability environment and wants to help build a new growth vertical. It involves developing and executing a territory-level go-to-market strategy, conducting frequent in-field outreach, building partner relationships, identifying barriers to treatment, and collaborating across teams to improve Charlie Health’s SUD growth efforts. The position is based in Orange County, California, and requires extensive travel around the territory.

Requirements

Must be based in Orange County, California.
Willingness to travel extensively around Orange County, California.
At least four years of proven sales or business development experience.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships, educate stakeholders, and foster collaboration.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Strong project management skills and ability to manage details in a dynamic environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience in healthcare or behavioral health outreach.
Familiarity with the SUD treatment ecosystem and community ties.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a territory-level go-to-market strategy focused on growing the SUD program.
Build deep, trust-based relationships with SUD referral partners across higher and lower levels of care.
Conduct in-field outreach four to five days per week, meeting with referral partners to educate them about Charlie Health’s SUD programs and services.
Identify barriers to treatment and collaborate with referral sources to improve access to care.
Collect and synthesize partner feedback to refine messaging, positioning, and execution.
Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to continuously improve the SUD growth motion.
Partner with internal teams to create tailored engagement strategies for SUD care providers and support long-term collaboration.
Represent Charlie Health in community settings, industry events, conferences, and educational sessions to promote awareness of the SUD program.
Gather and synthesize feedback from partners and stakeholders to refine marketing, operational, and product strategies.
Work cross-functionally with marketing, clinical, operations, and analytics teams to achieve growth goals within the SUD channel.
