Territory Mgr, ITP Portfolio - Northern New Jersey
About The Position
As a Territory Manager within Baxter's Infusion Therapies and Platform team, you will represent Baxter and its products in the northern New Jersey market. You will serve as the primary connection to healthcare professionals who rely on Baxter's solutions, acting as both the face and voice of the portfolio. This role values collaboration between teams and understands how these connections drive strong business results. The insights and feedback provided to your team and cross-functional partners will help inform priorities and support meaningful change. In this role, you will promote Baxter's Medication Delivery, Pharma, and Nutrition portfolio with primary call points including Materials Management, Nursing, Pharmacy, Risk Management, and other departments throughout the hospital in the New Jersey market. We are seeking individuals who take personal accountability for achieving results and can succeed at every stage of the customer’s buying process. This role requires becoming a subject matter expert in Baxter's medication delivery portfolio.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or 6+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Three years of medical/hospital sales experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to support effective sales strategies.
- Willingness to travel to both remote and urban locations, independently or with other personnel.
- Proven sales performance, a strong team orientation, and solid organizational skills.

Responsibilities
- Achieve sales quotas across a diverse portfolio including Baxter’s Pharma, Access, Drug Delivery, Nutrition, and Fluid Therapy products.
- Implement sales strategies and execute business plans to deliver on volume, product mix, and profit objectives.
- Call on acute-care hospital customers; deliver effective presentations; and provide product information, demonstrations, and education.
- Partner closely with Infusion Systems and the broader Baxter team to meet goals and objectives.
- Protect, service, and grow the existing customer base.
- Manage and optimize Baxter’s GPO contracts.
- Serve as a resource for market information to management and marketing teams.
