About The Position

MiniMed is seeking an experienced Territory Manager to drive business growth and support for Diabetes products and services. This field-based role promotes, sells, and supports MiniMed offerings in the Indianapolis North territory, including Muncie, Kokomo, Carmel, Indianapolis, and surrounding areas. The role reports to the assigned District Manager and is expected to be in the field five days per week. The position includes educating healthcare stakeholders, providing product and therapy support, developing customer relationships, managing territory operations, and communicating customer feedback to internal teams. Driving within the territory is expected approximately 100% of the time and may require overnight travel.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of three years of prior sales experience.
• Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy.
• Driving record will be reviewed as part of the application.
• Ability to drive approximately 100% of the time within the assigned territory; overnight travel may be required.

Nice To Haves

• Field sales experience.
• Prior medical device, business-to-business, or pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Experience using Salesforce.
• Prior inside sales or field clinical experience with MiniMed.
• Previous sales award recipient for strong sales performance, such as President’s Club or Rookie of the Year.
• Strong data analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote, sell, and service MiniMed products to physicians, patients, and referral sources through sales calls and educational activities.
• Implement quarterly sales and market development plans to achieve targets, adapting strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with Clinical Territory Managers, Diabetes Clinical Educators, and cross-functional teams to educate stakeholders on intensive diabetes management and continuous glucose monitoring.
• Provide product and therapy technical support to patients, including consultation at staff in-services, physician seminars, and community organizations.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with referral sources, healthcare professionals, and non-clinical buyers.
• Manage territory expenses, inventory, and product returns, and coordinate daily customer support activities as assigned.
• Capture healthcare professional engagements in Salesforce in a timely and accurate manner.
• Complete administrative reporting, use approved sales collateral, and conduct market research on customers and competitors.
• Communicate customer feedback and product needs to internal stakeholders, including R&D, Operations, and Marketing.
