About The Position
EquipmentShare is seeking Future Territory Account Managers to join their team at their rental facility in Whitman, MA. This role is responsible for expanding the existing customer base by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals. The company offers construction equipment rentals including aerial equipment, earth moving equipment, material handling equipment, and more. The ideal candidate will be ready to grow with the company, bring energy and drive to their work, and help build the future of construction.
Requirements
- Tenacious and innovative with superior outside sales experience and skills with a proven sales track record.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Technical aptitude to adapt to the fast pace of a growing company and stay continuously educated on the latest EquipmentShare products and services.
- Competitive, self-motivated, and results-driven, but thrive in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to manage strategic and national accounts.
- Familiar with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
Nice To Haves
- Heavy Construction Equipment or Industry knowledge (rental or construction) with experience in B2B sales is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Territory management of a geographical area, responsible for full sales strategy execution from market analysis, sales forecasting, pipeline management and revenue growth, through contract negotiation and customer retention.
- Quickly respond to inbound leads and requests.
- New business development and client acquisition/account development. Expand our existing customer base by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals. Educate them on how EquipmentShare solves their problems.
- Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure customers are 100 percent satisfied with the level of service and support they receive. Keep them up-to-date about new or additional ways in which EquipmentShare can help improve their business with our comprehensive jobsite solutions.
- Promptly respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, complaints or other communications.
- Conduct sales presentations to prospective and existing customers.
- Develop new sales strategies and techniques to increase market share and improve customer experience.
- Manage and support job site activities and projects with remote and on-site involvement.
- Assist with equipment rental, sales, and service when needed by customers on-site.
