About The Position

EquipmentShare is seeking a Territory Account Manager for its rental facility in Richmond, VA. This role is part of a general pre-placement application for various positions within the organization. The company aims to transform the construction industry through innovative technology and real-time support. The Territory Account Manager will be responsible for executing sales strategies, developing new business, and maintaining existing customer relationships. If selected for an interview, a team member will contact the applicant to discuss specific roles, compensation, and answer questions.

Requirements

  • Tenacious and innovative with superior outside sales experience and skills and a proven sales track record.
  • Familiar with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical aptitude to adapt to the fast pace of a growing company and stay continuously educated on the latest EquipmentShare products and services.
  • Competitive, self-motivated, and results-driven, but thrives in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to manage strategic and national accounts.
  • Employment is contingent on passing a background check.
  • Some roles require passing a drug test, depending on the job responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Pump, Power & HVAC (power generation, fluid solutions, heating & cooling solutions) Equipment or Industry knowledge (rental or construction) with experience in B2B sales is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Territory management of a geographical area, including market analysis, sales forecasting, pipeline management, revenue growth, contract negotiation, and customer retention.
  • Quickly respond to inbound leads and requests, utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • New business development and client acquisition/account development by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals to demonstrate how EquipmentShare can save them money, make them money, and operate more efficiently.
  • Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure 100% satisfaction with service and support, and keep them informed about new EquipmentShare solutions.
  • Promptly respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, complaints, or other communications.
  • Conduct sales presentations to prospective and existing customers.
  • Develop new sales strategies and techniques to increase market share and improve customer experience.
  • Manage and support job site activities and projects with remote and on-site involvement.
  • Assist with equipment rental, sales, and service when needed by customers on-site.
