About The Position

Toast is hiring a locally based field sales Territory Account Executive to help restaurants and local businesses succeed using Toast technology. The position covers the North Nashville, Tennessee area; candidates must live locally or be willing to relocate. Using a consultative sales approach, the Account Executive prospects, builds relationships with local restaurateurs, identifies their needs, and develops customized solutions to help their businesses thrive. The role works across the sales cycle and partners with internal teams to ensure customer expectations are met during delivery.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a sourcing or closing sales role, restaurant operations, or a related field and industry.
Reliable transportation for field work; mileage will be reimbursed.
Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills, including the ability to sell and negotiate at all decision-making levels.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, team environment.
Self-motivated, creative, and flexible.
General technical proficiency with software.
Must live locally in the North Nashville, Tennessee area or be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

Generate a list of prospective restaurants and manage the full sales cycle from initial call through close.
Conduct product demonstrations and develop solutions that meet prospects’ needs.

Understand the competitive landscape and determine how to position Toast in the market.
