Tennis and Pickleball Professional | The Country Club at Wakefield Plantation
About The Position
The Country Club at Wakefield Plantation is seeking a hands-on, member-facing Tennis and Pickleball Professional to assist the Director of Tennis and Pickleball with the club’s program offerings, activities, events, lessons, and clinics. The position includes assisting with instruction, socials, tournaments, and camps, as well as supporting daily court operations and promoting the program. The role also includes dedicated shop hours and racquet stringing. The Country Club at Wakefield Plantation is a McConnell Golf property. The stated salary range is USD $60,000–$80,000 per year. Full-time positions offer medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 401(k), paid time off, and a daily complimentary staff meal.
Requirements
- A minimum 4.5 playing background in both tennis and pickleball.
- Must have attained or be working toward professional tennis and pickleball certifications.
- Top-level customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist with lessons, clinics, and camp offerings.
- Assist with socials, events, and tournaments.
- Assist with daily court maintenance as needed.
- Work dedicated shop hours, book courts, reply to emails, and answer calls.
- String racquets.
- Promote the program.
- Provide quality service to members and guests.
- Attend staff meetings as appropriate.
- Attend company training and seminar events as appropriate.
- Perform other tasks as appropriate.
