About The Position

The Temporary Seasonal Sales Support Associate provides clerical support for front- and back-of-house operations at Hermès’ Troy boutique. The role supports the client experience in a fast-paced luxury retail environment and works collaboratively with the sales and selling support teams. It reports to a member of the store management team. The position begins in November and runs through December 31.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients, determine their needs, and escort them to the appropriate floor or sales associate.
• Support beverage service in line with brand standards and coordinate with management to keep beverage supplies stocked.
• Provide hospitable services, such as bringing coloring books to children.
• Support the sales process by hanging merchandise, returning merchandise to the floor, retrieving stock, and physically preparing the stock room.
• Organize and prioritize the workstation and selling floor to support sales efforts.
• Keep bags, boxes, note cards, ribbons, stationery, and similar supplies stocked.
• Maintain selling-floor merchandise standards by straightening and filling in merchandise.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
