About The Position

The Temporary Associate serves as a trusted, knowledgeable advisor who helps customers select Kate Spade products suited to their aesthetic and lifestyle. The role helps customers discover and express personal style and shows them how to incorporate Kate Spade products into their existing wardrobe. Associates engage customers, provide styling guidance, support sales, and maintain operational excellence in a retail environment.

Requirements

Professional selling skills and exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
Prior experience in a retail environment.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting.
Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni/virtual selling techniques.
English proficiency or local-language proficiency, depending on the market.
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, busy season, and high-traffic retail days, including public holidays.
Ability to regularly lift at least 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom.

Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating strong product knowledge.
Listen actively and ask follow-up questions to understand customer needs.
Provide styling advice, suggest add-ons, and create complete looks.
Show customers multiple ways to wear products and encourage them to explore new styles.
Guide customers through purchase decisions and provide a seamless checkout experience.
Reinforce and celebrate customer choices and invite customers to return.
Drive results through customer connections and storytelling.
Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and product attributes across categories.
Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization and POS transactions.
Give and receive feedback honestly and constructively.
