About The Position

The Temporary Associate serves as a trusted and knowledgeable advisor, helping customers select products that suit their aesthetic and lifestyle. The role helps customers discover and express their personal style and shows them how to incorporate Kate Spade products into their existing wardrobe. Associates create customer connections through product knowledge, styling, storytelling, and attentive service while supporting sales and store operations.

Requirements

Professional selling skills and exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
Prior experience in a retail environment.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting.
Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni/virtual selling techniques.
English proficiency or local-language proficiency, as applicable to the market.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, busy season, high-traffic retail days, and public holidays.
Ability to regularly lift at least 25 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom.

Provide styling advice, suggest add-ons, and create complete looks.
Show creative ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles.
Guide customers through purchase decisions and provide a seamless checkout experience.
Reinforce customer choices and invite customers to return.
Drive results through customer connections and brand storytelling.
Maintain knowledge of the brand and product attributes across categories.
Support operational excellence, including stockroom organization and POS transactions.
Give and receive feedback constructively.
