About The Position

The Temporary Associate serves as a trusted and knowledgeable advisor who helps customers select products suited to their aesthetic and lifestyle. The role works with customers to discover and express their personal style and demonstrates how Kate Spade products can fit into their existing wardrobe. The associate provides a welcoming, informed customer experience, supports sales through styling and product storytelling, and maintains operational excellence in the store.

Requirements

Professional selling skills and exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
Prior experience in a retail environment.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting.
Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni/virtual selling techniques.
English proficiency, or local-language proficiency as required by the market.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, busy season, high-traffic retail days, and public holidays.
Ability to regularly lift at least 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom.

Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating strong product knowledge.
Listen actively and ask follow-up questions to understand customer needs.
Provide styling advice, suggest add-ons, and create complete looks.
Show customers multiple ways to wear products and encourage exploration of new styles.
Guide customers through purchase decisions and provide a seamless checkout experience.
Reinforce and celebrate customer choices and invite customers to return.
Drive results through customer connections and storytelling.
Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and product attributes across all categories.
Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization and POS transactions.
Give and receive feedback honestly and constructively.
