About The Position

The Temporary Associate serves as a trusted and knowledgeable advisor, helping customers select products that suit their aesthetic and lifestyle. The Stylist works with customers to discover and express their personal style and to incorporate Kate Spade products into their existing wardrobe. The role includes customer engagement and styling, sales, and maintaining operational excellence in a retail environment.

Requirements

Professional selling skills and exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
Prior experience in a retail environment.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting.
Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni/virtual selling techniques.
English proficiency, or local language proficiency as applicable to the market.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, busy season, high-traffic retail days, and public holidays.
Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally, and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom.

Listen actively and ask follow-up questions to understand customer needs.
Offer styling advice, suggest add-on products, and create complete looks.
Show customers multiple ways to wear products and encourage them to explore new styles.
Guide customers through purchase decisions and provide a seamless checkout experience.
Reinforce and celebrate customer choices and invite customers to return.
Drive results through customer connections and storytelling.
Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and product attributes across categories.
Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization and POS transactions.
Give and receive feedback constructively.
