About The Position

The Temporary Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience through engaging with customers and following customer experience principles. The role helps maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment and adheres to operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards. Associates may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to meet business needs. The position is based at Marshalls Store 1006 in Nora, Indiana, and has a starting pay range of $13.25 to $13.75 per hour; actual pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Role-model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain and clean the entire store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
