About The Position

The Temporary Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience through customer engagement and interaction, while maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The role follows operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may involve cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs. Associates uphold customer experience practices, contribute to a positive store culture, accurately process purchases and returns, promote credit and loyalty programs, prepare and merchandise products, and maintain store recovery, cleanliness, and safety standards. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Role-model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Follow the company merchandising philosophy, procedures, and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards and help maintain the entire store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
