About The Position

The Temporary Associate at Kate Spade New York serves as a trusted, knowledgeable advisor, helping customers select products that suit their aesthetic and lifestyle. The role involves helping customers discover and express their personal style and showing how Kate Spade products can be incorporated into their existing wardrobe. Associates engage customers, provide product and styling guidance, support sales, and maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization and point-of-sale transactions. The position requires schedule flexibility to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, busy season, and high-traffic retail days such as public holidays. Requirements

Professional selling skills and exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
Prior experience in a retail environment.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting.
Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni/virtual selling techniques.
English proficiency or local-language proficiency, as applicable to the market.
Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom.

Drive results through customer connections and storytelling.
Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and product attributes across categories.
Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization and POS transactions.
Give and receive feedback honestly and constructively.
Work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, busy season, and high-traffic retail days, including public holidays.
