About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a part-time Teller to join its National Branch Network at the Rock Hill Main location. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately processing transactions while delivering a welcoming and reliable experience. Tellers are a primary point of contact for customers and represent the branch through strong service, attention to detail, and genuine care. The role builds foundational banking skills by helping Tellers understand customer needs and introduce helpful products, services, and digital tools. Tellers identify opportunities to support customers and connect them with the appropriate banker for detailed product conversations. They work with branch teammates to keep daily operations running smoothly and provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Wells Fargo describes this position as an entry point to retail banking and potential long-term career growth, supported by training, coaching, and a team-based culture. The position is located at 113 E. Main St., Rock Hill, SC 29730. The schedule will include Saturdays. The position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine service transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships and actively listen to understand everyday financial needs; connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in accordance with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly, clarify customer needs, and provide simple solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues to ensure timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk and compliance requirements, policies, and procedures; escalate and remediate issues in a timely and effective manner.
